Jimmy Choo eyes sporty fashionistas with new designer shoes

As you all know, I am perhaps not the biggest lover of trainers that the world has ever seen and while I wish I was one of those sporty types, I think it’s time to face up to the fact that trawling around the shops each weekend is the closest I get to physical activity. But

Elle Macpherson to host Britain’s Next Top Model

Friends and colleagues here at Secret Sales HQ whinge at me as soon as Britain’s Next Top Model hits our screens each year, saying that they can’t get in touch with me for love nor money. But what better opportunity is there to see a fabulous range of designer clothing and shoes showcased while in the

Spring is in the Air

Sometimes the aura of flowers blooming and birds chirping can take away from the fact that nature has always been the inspiration for spring fashion . Spring fashion has been known to be dominated by floral, colourful cardigans, erotic prints and paranormal nautical stripes. The blooming of Easter hats and the smells of pastel painted cupcakes littered as prints on ballooning skirts is enough to make spring fashion an overdosing experience

Best and Worst of Grammy Fashion

Lady Gaga is so routinely extreme that you sort of get desensitized: even an amazing Armani with scary spike accessories seems normal in Gagaland. Rihanna and Pink , on the other hand, were fashion surprises (in a great way!) while Ciara and Katy Perry overdosed on embellishment.

Countdown to Fashion Week: Shopping Diary

I broke 3 of my own shopping rules today: I shopped on Saturday, the craziest day of the week. (Oh, and did I mention I went to THE MALL!?) I took a kid with me — which was great fun — but 7-year-old girls are much more interested in stuffing and dressing up bears than shopping for Fashion Week. Skin and tidy brows ‘next big thing for men’

Many of my male friends love designer clothing almost as much as I do – and the guys here at Secret Sales spend as much time shopping the fashion sales as us girls. But according to Jason Wigglesworth, operations director at The Gentry Grooming Company, beauty products and gadgets are increasingly on male shopping lists. Jason explained

Dresscode imposed in Tesco store

Would you wear your pyjamas outside of the house? I don’t know about you but I always like to make an effort with my clothing and make sure that I look presentable. Of course I like to put on comfy clothes when I am watching television in the evening or if I’m heading out for

Women’s Fashion Glasses

You only have one chance to make a first impression , and you’ve heard the expression ‘good lenses, bad frames’. No matter how smart/savvy/suave you may be, if it’s not turned-out in a tasteful way, it’s harder to make the same impact. Let’s face it, first impressions are all about style, but very few people really invest the appropriate amount of time to actually find the right frames to suit their face

Women’s Spring Fashion Trend – Ruffles!

Ruffles are back… Last week we touched on some of the emerging trends that are set to have women’s fashion alight in Spring/Summer 2010. First up we had nude collections coming to the forefront, which involved subtle feminine colours and embracing your girly side. This makes a massive difference from last year where Autumn/Winter was all about power dressing, rock chic and strong silhouettes
